App and neobank cards put to the test
Cards in this group live inside an app that holds the balance. It might be a crypto service, a payments app or a neobank adding coins. You fund the account, conversion occurs at payment, and one company is responsible for fees, limits and help.
The checks go through every tier and its price, what conversion and currency fees take, the list of served countries and complaints about frozen accounts or weak support.
The result depends heavily on the company’s licence and rules, since it holds the money. A card can look fine on price and still lose points when those rules are read closely.
