Credit and cashback cards put to the test
Two sorts of card are examined here. Some let you borrow with your crypto as security, as a line of credit or a collateral card. Others stand out for cashback in crypto or stablecoins.
The test looks past headlines to the figures that decide the deal: rates, caps, the currency of the reward, collateral rules and the terms behind any «up to» number.
Two weak points get probed every time. Lenders can demand repayment once collateral loses value, and a reward in a wobbly coin is worth only what the coin is. Each result records both.
